    About White Farm Equipment

The White Motor Company entered the agriculture industry through mergers and acquisitions. In fact, the company’s beginnings are rooted in three key acquisitions: the Oliver Farm Equipment Company in 1960, the Cockshutt Farm Equipment Company in 1962, and Minneapolis-Moline in 1963. White merged those companies together in 1969 and created White Farm Equipment.

    Agco Acquisition

After manufacturing everything from tractors and combines to plows and cultivators, the company eventually became a part of the AGCO Group in the 1990s. However, after that acquisition, AGCO positioned White as a brand of planters only and didn’t carry over the other product categories.

    White Planters

The 9000 Series of planters is White’s bread and butter. It sells rigid frame, forward fold, wing fold, flex frame, rigid and vertical, stacker toolbar, narrow transport, extra-large frame, and row unit planters. White Planters also sells quite a few attachments for its equipment, some of which include single disc fertilizer openers and liquid injectors, tillage coulters, floating residue managers, angled rubber press wheels, piston pumps, disc trash masters, blow inlet screens, and more.
