Grain handling equipment is the calling card of Parker Farm Equipment, which S.L. “Hank” Parker founded as Parker Feeders in 1960 in Silver Lake, Indiana but that’s now part of Unverferth Manufacturing, manufacturer of tillage equipment, pull-type sprayers, fertilizer applicators, hay and grain handling equipment, and other ag-related equipment under its Parker Farm Equipment, Brent, Killbros, and Top Air brands.

Hank Parker’s first product was a 130-bushel gravity bed sold in 1961. In the immediate years following, the company’s business had expanded such that the company opened an additional manufacturing plant in Jefferson, Iowa, in 1965. After changing the company’s name to Parker Industries in 1966, Hank Parker sold the company in what would be the first of several acquisitions of the company. Eventually, Top Air Company purchased the company, only for Unverferth to acquire Top Air in 2001 and by association Parker.

Now based in Kalida, Ohio, Parker’s current products include new and pre-owned Seed Chariot seed tenders; 24-, 39-, and 48-Series auger grain carts and a 1648 dual auger grain cart model; and gravity wagons in 550-, 625-, and 750-bushel capacities.
