    About Mahindra

Since first expanding to the North American market in 1994, Mahindra has become the fastest growing tractor brand on the continent and, since 2010, has been among the best-selling tractors in the world. The company got its start in Mumbai, India, when brothers J.C. and K.C. Mahindra opened the steel-trading company. In 1947, it entered the automotive manufacturing market working to build vehicles that could withstand India’s rugged terrain.

Mahindra offered its first tractors for sale in 1963 when it partnered with International Harvester to sell tractors in India. In 1977, Mahindra created its own tractor division, expanding the lineup through the years to include tractors for just about any use. Mahindra tractors for sale include eMax and Max sub- and mid-compact models; small-footprint; 4WD; medium- to heavy-duty; and mFORCE full-sized models. Some models include Mahindra’s own mCRD engine technology for efficiency and lower emissions. Mahindra began manufacturing mPact utility vehicles in 2015, with room for three to six passengers and options such as long-bed and gas-shock lift cargo boxes.

Internationally, Mahindra sells tractors in a range of horsepower ratings, along with spreaders, harvesters, rice transplanters, shredders, mulchers, and other agricultural equipment for specific uses in the more than 40 countries it serves.
