    About Honda Outdoor Power Equipment

A division of American Honda Motor Company, Honda Power Equipment manufactures a long list of outdoor power equipment that includes generators, residential and commercial mowers, trimmers, brush cutters, the Miimo robotic mower, and single- and two-stage snow blowers. The company also produces dewatering, trash, chemical, submersible, and diaphragm pumps and mini, mid-tine, and rear-tine tillers. Overall, the Alpharetta, Georgia-based company offers 70-plus models of outdoor power equipment for sale within six major product families.

Honda Power Equipment touts a network of thousands of U.S. independent dealers and 11 manufacturing plants worldwide. As of 2015, the company states it had served 40 million-plus U.S. customers. Soichiro Honda founded the Honda Technical Research Institute in 1946 following World War II with the intent to manufacturer internal combustion engines and machine tools. In 1947, Honda turned out its first original product with the Honda-A-Type engine. The company would release its first tiller, the F150, in 1959, selling 20,000 units that year. 1978 saw the release of the HR21, the company’s first walk-behind lawnmower. By 1981, the company had produced 5 million power equipment products, and that total would double in just another four years.

Available in models from 1,000 to 10,000 watts, Honda offers generators for home, work, and recreation purposes. The company’s pumps are available in capacities ranging from 37 to 423 gallons per minute, while its snow blowers are available in wheel and track models able to move 1,500 to 3,000 pounds of snow. The company’s push and self-propelled residential and commercial lawn mowers are available in HRX, HRR, HRS, and HRC series models, and the company’s line of trimmers feature Honda’s VersAttach multi-tool system, with two power heads and six attachments from which to choose.

You’ll find a big selection of new and used Honda equipment for sale on TractorHouse.com, including lawn mowers, snow blowers, and more.
