Greater Capacity
Newer dry tender models are increasingly focused on providing greater hauling capacities. Manufacturers often opt for lighter stainless-steel construction, for example, for a tender’s hopper, auger, and other components to keep total unit weights down and enable larger payloads. Dry tender capacities are often measured in cubic feet, with modern models ranging anywhere from 200 to 1,000 cu ft (roughly 6 to 28 cubic meters). In addition to overall capacity, buyers should consider the number of hoppers available, as many models can be configured with optional splits to support the different types of fertilizer you need to apply.
