    About Drago

Drago corn heads are made in Italy by Olimac. The family-owned company has been in business since 1954, planning, manufacturing, and assembling almost every component for its Drago corn heads in its completely robotic, almost fully automated factory. Drago corn heads for sale are designed to work in cornfields around the world, according to Olimac, with standard components that can suit particular customer or country requirements.

Olimac began officially offering its Drago corn heads for sale in the United States in 2002 through Iowa-based Dragotec USA. Drago GT and Drago Series II corn heads offer a number of unique features, including automatic self-adjusting deck plates; Twin Chop Plus, with two counter-cutting chopping knives; and QuadSuspension technology, providing integrated “ear shocks” under the deck plates that work to reduce yield loss. The gear-driven corn heads work with any type and brand of combine harvester or self-propelled shredder, and they come in four- to 24-row models with 30- to 40-inch row spacing. In the United States, the heads can be color-coordinated to match a farmer’s combine.
