Ag Spray Equipment was founded in 1966 under a different name and grew by leaps and bounds over the years by expanding its product line, as well as through a series of acquisitions beginning with Schaben Industries in 1986. It then acquired A & L Supply in Othello, Washington, in 2013; Horvick of Fargo, North Dakota, in 2014; and Mankato Spray Center in Mankato, Minnesota, in 2014. That year, the company adopted the Ag Spray Equipment brand for all of its many businesses and locations.
