Travis Seed Cart is a brand of HitchDoc, which is based in Jackson, Minnesota. HitchDoc began working with Travis Manufacturing in 2000 to help fabricate its line of seed carts; nine years later, the company bought the Travis Seed Cart brand. Since then, HitchDoc has worked to streamline the manufacturing process without sacrificing quality with high manufacturing standards and the use of all-American steel. The company continues to perfect original Travis Seed Cart designs as well as introduce new models to the market in order to meet the needs of farmers all over the country.

Bulk Carts, Box Carts & More

Travis Seed Cart offers six main cart models, including the HSC 275 Series and HSC 375 Series bulk carts as well as the 2000 Series, 4000 Series, and 6000 Series box carts. Both of the HSC models have overall heights of 101 inches, but also have transport heights of 122 inches and 139 inches for the auger style and conveyor style, respectively. The HSC 275 has a capacity of 275 seed units and supports both bumper and gooseneck tow options, whereas the HSC 375 has a capacity of 375 seed units and is only available as a gooseneck.

The 2000 Series is a two-seed box, the 4000 Series is a four-seed box, and the 6000 Series is a six-seed box. They all have operating heights of 102 inches and transport heights of 120 inches or 134 inches, depending on whether you choose an auger- or conveyor-style box. The 2000 Series and 4000 Series both sport 8-horsepower motors, but the 6000 Series has a 13-horsepower motor. HitchDoc also sells a product called the Seed Pod that can convert some seed carts into bulk seed delivery systems.
