    About Summers Manufacturing

Summers Manufacturing is an ag equipment company based in Devils Lake, North Dakota, with a service center in Aberdeen, South Dakota. Harley Summers founded the company in Maddox, North Dakota, in 1965 when he began manufacturing Goebel truck and pickup hoists. In 1970, Ardon Herman and Summers collaborated on a heavy-duty harrow, which went on to be known as the Herman Harrow. In 1977, Summers launched the Agri-Sprayer, and three years later added Crown rock pickers to the lineup.

    Recent History

In the early ’80s, Summers launched several new products, including the Superweeder, the Fargo Field Sprayer, and a unique new tillage machine called the Herman Diamond Disk. Throughout the late ‘80s and ‘90s, Summers released the hydraulic-fold packer and Harrow Packer, pickup-mounted sprayers, the Superchisel, and the Supersprayer. In 2015, Summers celebrated 50 years as a world-class manufacturer of agriculture machines.
