Founded by Harold Lempka and a business partner in 1984 in Minden, Nebraska, as the Minden Machine Shop, the company initially focused on building and repairing machinery. Lempka’s sons later joined the business, and Patriot Equipment began manufacturing farm equipment in addition to offering repair services.

In 1994, the company launched the Patriot Equipment brand, reflecting the Lempka family’s strong sense of patriotism. Since then, Patriot Equipment has expanded its product line, manufacturing facilities, and workforce, all dedicated to the company’s mission of “Helping Farmers Feed America.”

Patriot Equipment’s offerings include seed, livestock, fertilizer, and down corn equipment, as well as combine headers and grain tailer solutions. Additional products include pivot bridges, pivot track closers, stubble crushers, cover crop roller crimpers, bale caddies, tractor augers, and water pumps.

• Seed equipment. The company’s seed equipment includes bulk, 2- and 4-box, bulk conveyor, and box conveyor seed tenders. Patriot also sells a unique Seed Box Flipper for disassembling bulk seed boxes and Weigh Wagons, which serve as both a seed tender and a weighing system.
• Fertilizer equipment. Patriot Equipment fertilizer products include front-, frame-, and axle-mounted helicopter tanks, as well as planter-mounted tanks, nurse tanks for hauling bulk liquids, high-rise trailers for post-planting use, and all-wheel, pull-behind steering carts for transporting large volumes of liquid.
• Custom-built products. Growers can also order custom-built Patriot Equipment toolbars for fertilizer, strip-till, planter, cultivator, tiller, and side-dress applications. Options include non-folding, stack, and vertical-folding variants for 3-point and pull-type hitches, with multiple wheel options.
