    Dry Floaters, sometimes referred to as “granular floaters,” are self-propelled chemical applicators often used for pre-plant or post-harvest applications with high coverage rates.     These machines are called “floaters” because their large, wide flotation tires spread their contact weight over a much larger area than standard-profile tires, allowing them to move through fields with very little disruption to the topsoil.
