The LEXION brand name is part of Harsewinkel, Germany-based CLAAS, known around the world for its combine and forage harvesters but also tractors and balers. In North America, LEXION combines are produced by CLAAS North America in Omaha, Nebraska.

From the beginning, LEXION combines were designed and built to be the world’s largest and most reliable. The LEXION name first appeared in 1995 with the LEXION 400 series, which CLAAS designed to set new performance thresholds with a 600mm threshing drum, an onboard CEBIS computer, and a combined APS threshing and residual grain separating system. In 2003, CLAAS introduced the LEXION 500 series, featuring electric adjustment of rotor separation areas, a quick stop for front attachments, and the GRAINMETER, which provided real-time information on the payload via the CEBIS screen. CLAAS says that when it first released in 2005, the LEXION 600 series was the world’s most powerful combine harvester the world over, able to harvest 66 to 77 tons (60 to 70 tonnes) of wheat per hour in favorable conditions. The LEXION 700 series of combines is the newest line from CLAAS. First built in 2010, LEXION 700-series combines replaced the front drive wheels with the TERRA TRAC system for faster road speeds, which CLAAS says made them the world’s fastest combine harvesters.

You’ll find a number of new and used LEXION combines, row crop headers, and platform headers for sale on TractorHouse.com.
