Killbros, which is now an Unverferth brand after being bought by the company in 1993, started as the Kill Brothers welding and radiator shop in Delphos, Ohio, and expanded into the farm and agricultural equipment market by becoming a Case farm implement dealer just a few years later.

In 1954, Kill Brothers (eventually shortened to Killbros) began developing the product lines it is famous for today, starting with its gravity grain boxes and then expanding into two-wheeled grain carts and utility transports. The full Killbros product line includes new and used SeedVeyor seed tenders, grain wagons, running gears, grain carts, augers, and conveyors for sale. The well-known Killbros orange grain boxes with blue gears and red and green Killbros grain carts and high-capacity wagons are still made at the Delphos manufacturing plant originally opened by Killbros in 1964.
