    About JCB

JCB makes equipment for the agriculture, construction, and government and defense industries. On TractorHouse.com, you’ll find JCB utility vehicles and new and used JCB tractors for sale, including ones in the 175hp or Greater and 100hp to 174hp categories. JCB first introduced its Fastrac tractor lineup in 1990, and it was notable for being the world’s first fully suspended, high-speed draft tractor, according to JCB. Today, the top-of-the-line Fastrac 8330 has a maximum 348hp and can travel at up to 70kph.

The international company is based in the United Kingdom and employs more than 12,000 people worldwide, with JCB products sold in 150 countries by more than 750 dealers. JCB, named after its founder Joseph Cyril Bamford, was started in 1945 and originally built agricultural tipping trailers. By 1952, JCB had developed its first backhoe loader, and in 1964, JCB started selling crawler excavators. In recent years, JCB has focused on making its equipment as efficient as possible. 2006 was a big step forward for JCB in this regard, when the company introduced its TorqueLock technology to reduce fuel consumption and increase top speeds. JCB also patented a feature called Adaptive Load Control, which improves safety and stability on telescopic handlers.
