Exmark Manufacturing has offered a variety of lawnmowers for sale since its founding in 1982 as an independent manufacturer of professional turf care equipment. The manufacturer moved to its current Beatrice, Nebraska, headquarters in 1983 and expanded into the commercial riding mower market in 1987. Toro, which makes turf maintenance, snow removal, and lawn irrigation equipment, acquired Exmark in 1997, and it remains a Toro brand.

Exmark offers zero-turn riding lawnmowers, walk-behind mowers, stand-on lawnmowers, and rear-discharge mowers. It introduced its first Lazer Z midmount zero-turn riding lawnmowers in 1995; other Exmark model names include Vantage, Viking, Turf Tracer, and Radius. Some models of Exmark lawnmowers for sale offer features such as electronic fuel injection, RED onboard intelligence for communication among key mower systems, and suspension platform seating systems that limit the bumps and vibrations the operator feels. Exmark also offers turf management products for sale, including aerators, rotary brooms, spreader-sprayers, and slicer seeders.
