ENGINE IS SEIZED – MACHINE DOES NOT RUN.
Machine was being operated when the engine seized. We were told it appears the engine may have run low/out of oil. There is no visible hole in the block or obvious external catastrophic engine damage, but the engine has not been disassembled and internal engine damage should be expected/assumed.
Prior to the engine failure, we were told the machine was operating properly and the transmission, hydraulics, steering, blade, and other functions were working. These components have not been independently tested by us since the engine failure.
This is an exceptionally clean and complete 834B for its age. Cab, sheet metal, tires, blade, and overall machine condition show very well. Excellent candidate for an engine rebuild/replacement or dismantling for parts.
