These run between the crop rows, and between the snouts are a combination of rollers, knives, chains, belts, and/or other components that gather, pull back, and cut or snap the plant, stripping the stalk and leaving it behind while directing the corn, soybeans, sunflower, or other crop to an auger and into the combine.

CF-series headers fold for easy transport between fields and then quickly unfold when it’s time to go to work, resulting in more acres harvested per day and better visibility in tight spaces. Case IH’s corn headers, meanwhile, include a narrow row configuration option with 20- or 22-inch row spacing designed for cleaner picking, faster harvesting, and better down picking.
