Case IH Rewards Young Farmers & Ranchers
The American Farm Bureau Federation (AFBF) heads up a Young Farmers & Ranchers program to build leadership skills for the next-generation of agriculture advocates. Each year, the AFBF holds some competitive events and recognizes outstanding members. Case IH, in turn, awarded the finalists in these events with some seriously impressive prizes. In total, Case IH gave out three new Farmall 50A tractors and six large tool chests with $500 Case IH parts gift cards to nine of the finalists.
Case IH Farmall 50A
This compact utility tractor provides a 53 gross horsepower with 43 horsepower available to the power take off. The tractor’s 3-point hitch can lift up to 2,701 pounds (1,225 kilograms). For traction, the Farmall 50A can operate is two-wheel drive or mechanical front drive. The Farmall 50A was awarded to the three runner’s up for each event—with the winner receiving a new Ford truck. The AFBF indicates that each 3rd and 4th place finishers received a Case IH 40-inch Combination Roll Cabinet & Top Chest and a $500 parts card.
