Toro Introduces Flex Connect Layflat Connection System For Drip Irrigation

Toro recently launched its Flex Connect Layflat Connection System, a line of fittings and tools to connect drip tape to layflat hose in drip irrigation systems. Flex Connect fittings are equipped with a removable layflat eye connection and optional seal cap to enable growers to adjust spacing as needed, a plus for irregular-shaped fields, and they can reroll the layflat for moving and storage. The system includes valves, multiple tape nut connection options, 5/8- and 7/8-inch drip tape IDs, and a hexagon installation tool with wrench attachment that creates a firm seal for less leakage. More durable tubing and the optional eye connection sealing cap to minimize soil and foreign object intrusion during storage lead to a longer product life and reduced expenses.
